Function

Bismuth citrate is a naturally occurring mineral, frequently used to soothe the gastric and mucosal linings. Bismuth citrate also promotes microbial balance in the stomach. Also, is used as an internal deodorant and treats malodor by deodorizing flatulence and stool odors. It is usually given to people who suffer from fecal incontinence, IBS or who have has ostomy surgery or bariatric surgery.
