Butyl paraben is mainly used as an intermediate of organic synthesis as well an antiseptic and preservative for medicine, foodstuff and cosmetics. It is relatively Non-toxic and non-irritating at 0.05 of 1 percent.

Function

Butylparaben is one of the most common bactericidal/fungicidal additives in cosmetics.
