Lexemul- AS is a self-emulsifying glyceryl monostearate designed for use as an emulsifier, stabilizer, opacifier, and emollient in anionic systems. Because it is acid stable, it can be used in acidic systems as low as pH 4-5 as well as alkaline systems. Lexemul- AS is recommended for use in most types of cosmetics, toiletries, and topical pharmaceutical preparations. It is particularly recommended for low pH anionic systems and systems that incorporate electrolytes.
